How we find it
- County permit drawing (free or nearly free — ask first)
- Following the main drain line from the house with a probe or camera
- Electronic locator flushed through the system where needed
Risers. A riser brings the tank lid to grade so future pump-outs, inspections and filter cleanings don't involve a shovel. Cost $350–$700 installed, so the lid is reachable next time, installed during a pump-out. It pays for itself in two visits and it's the first thing a septic inspector notices.
Lid replacement. Cracked concrete or corroded steel lids are a safety hazard — falls into septic tanks happen. We replace them at the same visit.
All work is performed by TCEQ-licensed installers and licensed maintenance providers working under the county's on-site sewage facility program.
